Privacy Policy for DataPro
This privacy policy governs use of the DataPro mobile application (Android and iOS), developed and operated by LoBoDev inc. It describes how personal information is handled when a clinic uses DataPro.
1. Compliance with Quebec's Law 25
DataPro is designed with respect for Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). LoBoDev inc. is responsible for the protection of personal information for the DataPro service.
2. Roles: clinic and LoBoDev
The clinic that uses DataPro decides what client information is entered and remains responsible for that information under applicable law. LoBoDev provides the application and cloud infrastructure (hosting and technical services) so the clinic can manage its records. Client health information is stored in the clinic's secure space in the cloud, isolated from other clinics.
3. Information collected
Depending on how your clinic uses DataPro, the following categories of information may be processed:
- Clinic account: email address, password (managed by Firebase Authentication), account identifiers, optional Google sign-in (email and basic profile if enabled).
- Clinic profile: display name, address, phone, subscription status and identifiers related to Google Play billing.
- Employees (therapists): name, qualifications, roles, and access credentials configured by the clinic (session access on the tablet, without individual Firebase accounts).
- Client records: identity, contact details, health questionnaires, medical history, care notes, treatment history, body areas treated, consents and signatures (including images), attachments and photos linked to a file, and related clinical preferences.
- Exports and communications: when the clinic exports a record (PDF) or shares data, the destination chosen by the clinic (for example the client's email) is used. Export activity may be logged for the clinic.
- Technical support: if the clinic submits a help request, message content, clinic name, and optional screenshots may be stored to resolve the issue.
- Device and app data: information required for the app to operate, subscription verification, and secure sync. DataPro does not use advertising SDKs or Firebase Analytics in the application.
4. Collection and processing of health data
The DataPro application enables clinical record management. Accordingly, it processes health-related information about clients (progress notes, care history, health assessments) entered by clinic professionals. This health data is handled with strict confidentiality, is encrypted, and is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for marketing purposes. It remains the exclusive property of the client clinic (the tenant).
5. App permissions
DataPro may request access to the device camera to attach photos or documents to a client file. Subscription management uses Google Play in-app billing on Android. Some data is also stored locally on the tablet (cache and offline working copy) in addition to the cloud.
6. Storage and security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Cloud services are provided by Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions). Subscription-related server functions are deployed in the Canada region (northamerica-northeast1). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
7. Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers only as needed to operate DataPro: Google Firebase (hosting and authentication), Google Play (subscriptions and payment processing by Google), and optionally Google Sign-In for clinic login. We do not sell personal information. We do not use Stripe, advertising networks, or Firebase Analytics in the DataPro app.
8. Your rights, retention, and deletion
Under applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by LoBoDev inc. in connection with the DataPro service. Clinics can delete client files and related content from within the app where the product allows it. Deletion of a clinic cloud account or complete erasure of a tenant may require a request to LoBoDev inc. and is subject to legal retention obligations (for example clinical record-keeping). We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date and last updated date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published on lobodev.net.
